Imperial Language

The native language of the Imperial humans that have arrived in Sakura. It is considered to be similar to but still distinct from the Sakuran Language. Most imperials will speak this natively and prefer to speak it in private.

There exist High and Low dialects of the language.

High Imperial

High Imperial is used primarily in the Imperial Court and by the upper class. Within Sakura High Imperial may rarely be seen in official communications between high ranking Imperials or in formal documents.

Low Imperial

Within Sakura Low Imperial is what is commonly understood to be the "Imperial Language" and it is the preferred dialect for most things and by most individuals; especially since it shares more similarities with the Sakuran Language.
