The Ranger Kanagi says he's one of the leaders of the army that attacked Sakura Village, but can that really be true? He seems nothing like the evil brutes from the war. He's all grace and charm. He doesn't even dress like them, carries him self with noble mannerisms, and his steps seem light as air when he walks.
