Erensugen
"Uch Janna Tik Pur Balth Orney Ka Takin Erensugen."
Motto of the Mukasi Erensugen Remedial School
"The funny thing about Erensugen, I've found, is that they have very few single curse words. While humanity tends to get along with a good exclamation, speakers of Erensugen will rarely use one word when they could use ten. If they wish to curse you, they commit. That isn't to say when speaking other tongues they don't adopt our words - I met a Groundless once who would slip 'fuck' into every sentence. But a true Erensugen curse should take a minute and a half to say and leave you with a chill in your bones."
Roger Arthur Malindri, Travels Through The Sky
Writing System
The Erensugen alphabet is rarely used for modern purposes, as it is complicated and time consuming to write. Most Erensugen speaking Groundless in human cities cannot write it at all, and even on their sky ships, most Groundless use the Lamaran alphabet.
Geographical Distribution
Erensugen is spoken throughout the world due to the nomadic nature of the Groundless. While it can take quite different forms in terms of dialect, it is all one language. A speaker from Kozegard should in theory be able to communicate with a speaker from Mukasi, despite the speakers being so far apart.
This is helped primarily by Groundless visitations to different cities, keeping the language recognisably the same.
Common Phrases
Common Unisex Names
All names in Erensugen are unisex, as the Groundless concept of gender is far more complicated than male or female, and they find the division pointless.
