Vekas

The Vekas is an ethnic group that lives on the islands of Incama and Stros Kalai. Having explored and colonized most of Incama, the Vekas were among the first culture to develop seafaring vessels that could reach Kaipei.
With seafaring figured out, the Vekas were able to make contact with the peoples living around Kaipei's southern shore (namely the Vailun and Bayinae) and trade with them. With charisma, good business sense, and a variety of goods from their homeland of Incama, Vekas gained a reputation as traders.
To this day, the Vekas are the major traders in Saekai, and they have somehow managed to keep on almost everyone's good side throughout conflict and tension. They have recently established a formal colony on the neighboring island of Stros Kalai. The colonists' mission is to explore the island and assess its habitability.
