Grovehome
Within the country of Neo Verge druids, shamans, and others in tune with nature rule. While the trappings of civilization were not immediately torn down, efforts have been made to replace them with something closer aligned with nature.
Purpose / Function
Grovehomes are made to allow for the maximum continence without too much of a disruption of the natural environment.
Alterations
Grown with druidic magic from saplings several trees have been coaxed into the proper shapes to allow several people shelter from the environments. Thanks to the magic involved these trees are able to grow in such a way that the end result is that of a residence for a large family or that of a circle. Due to the restriction of using only natural elements wood, stone, and clay are the only materials involved with the construction of a grovehome
Architecture
While using magic a grovehome to shape trees into a building to save on time, effort, and resources often large rocks or other such natural materials are used as a basis for the grovehome. From there four to eight trees are coaxed into the shape of a single building with incredibly rare cases of a second level requiring intense detail and imagination from the druids involved. In place of windows a large gap is purposely grown to allow sunlight and weather when wanted. A cloth or leather flap will be placed around another gap that was crafted as the entrance to the grovehome.
History
When the ideological movement crafted by the Primal Guardians ended in the destruction of the country of Verge in it's place was a new government that strove to uphold the sanctity of nature. While the transition was not immediate efforts were made to find alternatives to all modern conveniences the first being houses. While simply tearing down the old buildings was deemed wasteful and counter productive efforts were made to craft new settlements to aid in the transition to a more primitive lifestyle.
