Deus

(a.k.a. Demonlord, Dreamer, Sleeping Madness)

When the First World was destroyed it killed almost all the creatures and a few Gods. But from the wild magics of the Chaotic Hells of the First World and divine spark of the dead Gods arose the three Hollowed, mockeries of deities equal in power and scope but twisted by the destruction the Gods had wrought.   Of the three Hallowed, Deus looked upon the first world and felt nothing but upon looking at the second world Deus was wracked with a swirl of emotions from envy to wrath. From each of his emotions drew forth a demon who reached out to Sadin'Shaw in need.

Personal history

From the chaotic wastes of the first world came Deus who saw the madness of the world and denied it. In doing so Deus returned the land to a semblance of what it once was, though Deus could only remember scraps of what had come before. From what memories and emotions of Deus spawned demons creatures that embodied the mind and wishes of Deus at that moment. Though the demon's worship their creator Deus barely notices their existence.   Eventually Deus came into contact with the other Hollowed who clashed with each other only to withdraw as they sensed a volatility that even their twisted senses felt endangered their existence. The first was Aeon who attempted to destroy Deus, but the countless demons threw themselves at Aeon till even the Hollowed was overwhelmed. The second was the Demiurge who attempted to corrupt and control Deus with sweet lies and convoluted speech, for which Deus lashed out only to retreat when he sensed the same risk as with Aeon. Eventually the three found a peace as no one could strike a foe without the other seizing the chance to prey upon the victor.   Eventually Deus sought more and reached beyond his world where he found the the Second World and coveted it. Deus attempted to rebuild the First world in the image of the second but the magics of the Hells taint everything and the hell of Demonic Wastes was spawned. Enraged Deus drove his realm nearly to destruction in his envy and greed for the Second World and it's beauty. Only when Deus was contacted by the other Hollowed with an offer did Deus regain his composure. The Hollowed worked together to leave the First World and enter the second, though each had a different goal all three wished to enter the Second world.   It was between the worlds in the void that the God's confronted the Hollowed, disgusted by the mockeries of their former deities the God's agreed the Hollowed were anathema and not beholden to the oath of non-conflict. Outnumbered and overpowered the Hollowed retreated back to the first world with the Gods in pursuit, the Hollowed would have been destroyed had the power of the Hells twisting and corrupting the Inevitable. Seeing one of their own fall easily the God's fled fearing for their own existence. For now the two sides are at a stalemate, the God's fear the First world but the Hollowed covet the Second world.   Deus was the most injured and retreated deep into his domain to sleep until his injuries recovered. In the meantime Deus dreams of the Second World and in doing do demons are brought into existence to fulfill their lord's wishes.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Deus is one of the few beings able to control the First World to craft a domain the demons call Demonic Wastes. Within Demonic Wastes the chaos that is the Hells resembles a labyrinthine city built upon itself and around the twisted flora of theWastes.

Failures & Embarrassments

While the Demonic Wastes is an accomplishment it is also the Hollowed's first failure. Time and time again Deus attempted to recreate the beauty of the Second world only to fail as the magics of the plane twisted both perception and execution of the deity. The reason Demonic Wastes is an ever shifting maze of buildings, towers, and more is due to the magic of the land twisting to the will of Deus.

Mental Trauma

The few times Deus has fought with other Hollowed resulted in the roiling chaos that is the First World to shudder as the deities clashed. This caused even the near mindless Aeon to recoil as their divine sparks pulsed in unison and fear. Since then Deus dislikes to interact with the Hollowed and will create demons of fear and terror when he senses Hollowed near his domain.   After the clash with the God's Deus fought viciously in his greed to reach the Second World. Unfortunately for the Hollowed he was outnumbered and inexperienced with such conflicts on a cosmic scale. First to fight and last to flee Deus was badly hurt as his divine spark was nearly extinguished. Now Deus sleeps and in his dreams there are nightmares of Gods and angels, his hatred and fear driving the creation of terrifying demons.

Intellectual Characteristics

Deus is childlike in most of his thoughts though he wields phenomenal cosmic power.

Morality & Philosophy

Rather then higher thinking it is his demons who have taken their creators mindset as a faith to reflect the idea that impulses and desires should be acted upon when possible. None are able to question Deus and even the other Hollowed avoid each other.

Taboos

Deus will not outright fight with another Hollowed, weather it is a leftover from the original God's oath to not fight each other or a fear of permanent death the Hollowed and his domain instinctively avoid the other Hollowed.
