The late king of the Kingdom of Sacred Vesarca, father of Rasalas XXIV the Unlikely. Menkalinan is regarded by historians as a good king in his early years, particularly as a notable patron of the arts and sciences, but he grew jaded and bitter in later life after his first four heirs all met with disaster. His fifth son, Rasalas, succeeded him when he died of a stroke at the age of 63.
