3 MAR - Twilight Tower, Act III
General Summary
Meeting Your Fellow Inmates
Current Date: Morning of 2 Enneatyr?, 994 AN (New Moon)
(Floor 4.5) After dealing with the trials and tribulations of the lower levels, the party attempted to make a safe space to rest. Unfortunately, Logi's Tiny Hut spell didn't seem to work in the hut. Furthermore, resting while the tower was in the astral realm seemed to slow down the party's resting. They were only able to partially heal up and recover resources.
(Floor 5) And after resting on one of the uncomfortable mid-floors, the party found the sleeping quarters! As well as one long-crazed cleric speaking in an old dialect of Shuriman that was barely undestandable. He was a tad hostile and opened up with swinging his maul at Sprout. He managed to be a particularly squirrelly that excelled at guerilla warfare in these tiny chambers. Utilizing the terrain and some area control, he managed to take on several party members in 1v1s in his favor. One of these resulted in the death of Lacarria, but Sprout managed to revivify them quickly enough.
(Floor 6) And on the next floor we found a lovely floating orb and some frozen creatures. Stepping into the room seemed to aggravate the flying orb and it attempted to freeze them and add to the collection of frozen creatures in the room. The party simply sprinted past the room with Turt bearing most of the freezing rays (but resisting being frozen. boo.).
(Floor 7) On this floor there were several display cases, though they all seemed empty. Further within, the party could hear some ballroom music playing. As they entered, two humanoids approached them with ill intent: one with purple tinted skin and a greatsword (and later some batlike wings I may have forgotten to mention), the other a plant-like humanoid with their face covered by a helmet with tentacles hanging out. A little fighting here and there with some more resources being depleted. But they had a nice stash of goods hidden behind them!
(Floor 8) They smiled and the door opened.
(Floor 9 Teaser) A long, serpentine creature with the head loosely resembling a human woman coiled around a pulsing orb warning the party not to approach. What secrets does she guard?
