The Cult of Lliira is popular throughout the Free States, and in the ruling classes within the Yhess Kingdoms.

Tenets of the Faith

The Cult of Lliira has oft been described as hedonistic, but those within the Cult of Lliira say that they simply revel in the joys of life. The priests and priestesses of the Cult are called joydancers and are tasked with planning festivals as acts of worship. The Cult of Lliira are called Lliirans and wear brightly colored outfits, and adorned themselves with rubies and sapphires. They are known for always having a smile on their lips; it was unheard of to see one with a frown. The Cult sees violence at celebrations as abhorrent, and any celebration would be utterly marred by it.
The Cult abhors violence, and any fighting or drawing of weapons (except in ceremony) at a celebration will cause her to withhold her favor. Her priests and priestesses, known as joybringers, take it as their mission to make other people happy, even if just for a moment.
