RUNESLINGER is an 8-book urban fantasy series set inside the Canadian federal correctional system. The series follows Thomas "Thor" O'Reilly, a 22-year-old working-class Irish-Canadian from Parkdale, Toronto, who arrives at a medium-security prison in 2015 on a 10-year sentence for accessory to armed robbery — a crime he didn't knowingly commit. Inside, he inherits a chaos magic practice from a dying Nazi occultist, builds a reputation as "El Bruja" (the witch), and discovers that the prison system contains a hidden world of magical practitioners operating beneath the institutional surface.

The series is structured across two arcs of four books each: Arc 1 — The Apprentice (Books 1–4, CNCC medium security) and Arc 2 — The Master (Books 5–8, Millhaven maximum security). It is, at its core, a story about principles as the foundation of power — and what it costs to hold them.
