Physical Description

Body Features

Tall and slim, even for a tabaxi, Sand has long arms and legs which he commands with cat-like grace. His fur is pale, sandy yellow, spotted with dull brown, which darkens to taupe around his head and pales to near-white on his underbelly. His tail, long and slender, is banded with brown, and it flicks and twitches when he is staying very still.

Facial Features

Brown fur wings under his eyes and across his fine cheekbones, scattering brown spots across his cheeks, brow and the back of his neck. Long, feline teeth grin behind black feline lips, with long, hair-fine whiskers sprouting from either side of that smile. Taupe fur sprouts from the back of his head, fading into a pale, sandy yellow as it runs down the nape of his neck. His eyes, inhuman and gleaming, are coloured copper, and are always alert, even behind half-lidded eyes.

Special abilities

Like many monks more advanced in the Way of the Open Palm than he is, Sand is able to harness the energy of ki that pools within himself and use it masterfully to great effect.

Mental characteristics

Education

Received training as a child in kata, resilience, agility, discipline, philosophy and the power of peace at the Tower of Many Mornings, trained under Sohei Kaiyendda Junhei.

Achieved the rank of San-Yasa, a rank in which the student questions the teachings, and departs.

Wrestled with the use of force against the power of peace, and fled the monastery home of his childhood.
