Divine Symbols & Sigils

Minervae does not favour any particular metal, but her followers frequently embellish leather, vellum and paper with prayers and images in Her name, using Her colour, olive green, Her jewel, tourmaline, and Her sacred animals, the owl, the swan, the goose and the stag. Her worshipers place a greater value on deeds and actions, memorialising great battles, achievements, discoveries and written and oral histories, with articular focus on the heroes of their faith, the Exemplars of the Regalia. In legend, Minervae was said to have rewarded Exemplars with special treasures that aided them on their journeys.   The Sigil of Castor, the mark of Minervae, is emblazoned on historical sites and centres of learning and culture, as well as in arenas, stages, taverns, personal libraries and conservatories to dedicate the space to the betterment of the self as a vessel for the betterment of the world.

Tenets of Faith

  • Stand tall, tread firmly, speak clearly.
  • The tongue is a blade, as sure as the mind is a shield. Care them both, or court disaster.
  • Mountains, as men, seldom stand alone, but stones in a field never compare to distant peaks.
  • An swan on the wing is beyond compare, but it will always lose a footrace.
