The Sacred Blossom

Both Lord and Lady to the citizens of the Regalia, Caritas, representing all true forms of love and beauty, is an androgynous deity that embodies many aspects of physical and emotional beauty.
Known among Their adherents as the White Rose, Androgyne, the Flowerbearer, Good Grace, and more, Caritas inspires love of all kinds, sanctifies marriages, evokes passions and illuminates the beauty in the world to all who look to Them for guidance.

Divine Spheres

Caritas is associated with Beauty and with Love, embodying the desires, passions and aspirations of the common and noble citizens alike under the banner of complete and sacred equality. Prayers to Caritas are born in the heart, and help to illuminate the innermost wishes and wants of a person and inspire the hopeful to consider them as a possibility that they might achieve.
While Caritas holds no bias towards male or female and is traditionally represented as human, Their representation does not extend fully into the cultural identity of the different members of the Regalia – males and females do not always regard one another as equals, and nonhuman races depict Them in forms more similar to their own.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Flowers feature prominently in many informal rituals, roses most frequently. The Seal of Virgo, a difficult icon to reproduce, is used to devote some work to the unblemished spirit of Caritas, often as an act of selfless love. Frequently, the mark of Virgo is etched, pressed or painted on objects of structures that are made with the needs of others in mind, and given away as selfless and anonymous acts of charity, or sometimes as anonymous tokens of admiration.
Lilac, or any pale purple hue, is the favoured colour of Caritas, electrum Its metal and any variety of jasper Its jewel. Caritas holds the dove to be sacred, as well as hare or rabbit and the mythical unicorn, a pristine white that shuns mortals with an unclean heart, mind or spirit.
