The Rot Dwellings
The Rot Dwelling can be easily described at the true first layer of The Seventh Seal. The new unfortunate souls that find themselves there usually start by praying for a second chance, to hope that this was all just a misunderstanding of Law's judgment. This is never the case, if there is one thing that the Lawsworn is known for it's a twisted sense of justice and The Rot Dwelling is a prime example. With no help from the government maintaining roads and homes the Rot Dwelling's dilapidated streets and buildings are barely fit for living. You'd more commonly find self built homes constructed out of recycled materials that look as if they could fall over if even a single brick came out of place. The people of the Rot Dwelling live in a perpetual state of paranoia and fear from constantly keeping an eye out for Lawsworn Street Patrols that plan on throwing them into The Seventh Seal for some easy recognition. Each night the Patrols go home to home with random searches trying to find even the slightest evidence required to get their mark. Raids are common in The Rot Dwellings, but monster attacks are even more common. Trolls have been invading the Rot Dwellings forcing the people to relocate while Lawsworn Enforcers attempt to push the mobs back into the depths. More often than not these conflicts end with Trolls killing small battalions of soldiers as well as some residents and taking their corpses back to their tribes at the edge of the Lawsworn Territory. Then back to business as usual—scrounging for food and fighting to survive.
