Elkrian

Elkrian is not really a kingdom, it is the name of a firbolg fortress in the heart of the x Forest. They are the voice of the forest, and the various fey that reside within. The whole forest is rich with feywild energies, brought forth by the abundance of fey living within. From pixies to satyrs to dryads, to even a few unicorns. To stop the steamroller of civilization from hitting their forest, the firbolgs of Elkrian play politics to keep people out. They monitor their territory with an eagle eye, not allowing to much to be taken.

Relations

Elkrian is mostly isolationist. They just want to keep people off their lawn while enjoying the simple things in life. There are some people they especially don't like though. They dislike the unnatural parts of the world, with Isliah and Mori being particularly distasteful. The firbolgs also dislike the giants of Kolithit for giant-kin reasons. Firbolgs broke away from the ordining, and the split caused a rift between them and the rest of giant kind. They do like these new elves who are coming in though. Elves and fey are like peanut butter and chocolate, so the fey are cool with the elves coming in. Their first priority is their forest, but the elves prove themselves respectful of nature over and over.
When dealing with outsiders, Elkrian usually sends emissaries. They are framed as ambassadors, but really they just deal with people so the other firbolg don't have to. One of the most well known is Valhana Mossbridge. There are a few others, but she handles most of the big interactions. Most firbolg don't like dealing with outsiders, but a handful love seeing things from new persectives, talking to different people and knowing the world beyond the woods.
