Cragnar Grovehoof

Founder of the Order of the Golden Bull and a high level paladin, Cragnar is a powerful minotaur. He wields a sword and shield(both sized for someone of his bulk) and regularly communes with his guardian angel. Ava, as she calls herself, turned Cragnar's bestial rage into a focused force for good. She didn't need to do much though, as he just needed a nudge to get him on a righteous path. Her connection to the upper planes has blessed his fortress, and some weaker celestials even aid the Order.

History

Cragnar was born to a pair of minotaurs in the service of a demon on Drakloth. He was a physically strong specimen, but his distinguishing trait was his mind. And his mind hated what it saw. Minotaurs were treated as slaves by the demons and their cult. They were kept as mindless brutes, mad on demon blood. When they tried to indoctrinate him, he grappled the cultist trying to feed him and threw them across the room. He proclaimed "I SHALL NOT BE YOUR SLAVE!" and began smashing any demon he could find. He would have died then, if not for a bit of divine luck. A celestial figure appeared to him and led him to safety. He would later learn they were a lesser angel known as Ava. She helped the bold young minotaur escape his almost certain doom as the cult's forces rallied to restrain this rogue minotaur. She then led him to Autolycus Shadowbeard. He trained, he grew and eventually he struck out on his own. During his time at the guild, he met other minotaurs who turned away from their demonic heritage. Seeing that their kind could be freed, he took a vow. He would cleanse his race of the taint that has plagued them since birth. So he set out to do just that. He gathered like minded minotaurs, and began to build a base. Now, he has a decent force and goes on crusades whenever his demonic kin rear their horns. He gives them two choices: Be cleansed or be slain.
