Vessi-Laurent

Vessi-Laurent is a city on the largest island in Rumoroé, known as Voyage Isles. Their two primary exports are fish and ships. There are many fishing villages in Rumoroé, but Vessi-Laurant is virtually the only city for shipbuilders. Most of the buildings in Vessi-Laurent are made from wood. Not only are its inhabitants skilled in woodworking, but it’s also difficult to get stone across the strait compared to wood. The city is enshrouded in nature - specifically plants. The forests around the city have been restored through years of conservation effort, and trees and flowers are everywhere inside the city, bringing it to life. The city is primarily devout to Lidiya, the Warden of Compassion, because of her affinity towards nature. There are wooden statues of her scattered around the town. The people of the town reflect her compassion and go to great lengths to ensure that no one suffers in Vessi-Laurent. They won’t always be the most outgoing, but they’re always quick to extend a helping hand when they see someone in need.
