Carrier Sea Turtle

Carrier Sea Turtles are a species of sea turtle that migrates using the currents between the east and west, and they often lay their eggs on the shores of Salvie. Once Salvians discovered this migratory path, they began inscribing messages onto the turtles and adorning them with culturally significant articles. Rarely, they find Carriers with markings and adornments from foreign cultures across the sea. It’s a very unreliable means of contact, as there’s no telling if anyone will see the turtles when they come ashore once a year to lay eggs, but it seems to have become a cultural pastime for both peoples.
