"Trader. Explorer. Writer. Treasure Hunter. Occasionally I have been called and I quote..." He took out a bundle of papers. "Rapscallion, con man, thief, plunderer, vagabond, cutpurse, no good dirty liar, untrustworthy swine, the lowest of worms, mo-."
"That's fine, you don't have to rattle off all of your titles," you say.
Cadmus looked relieved. "Yes. Yes thank you."
He put the papers aside.
"People tell terrible things about me. I guess its deserved. But believe me, I am wanderer and writer first and foremost. I like to write about what I see." Cadmus showed me his latest work in progress.
He said, "It's not finished. But when it is, it will be one more cap under my hat. One day, I'll have seen everything. One day I will experience everything this wonderful world has to offer."

Personal history

An Uriban hailing from the City of Sol, Cadmus Tallow is well traveled for someone so young. By his own reckoning he has, "skimmed the sands of the Stone Lands, journeyed into the darkest reaches of Zolacwa, pilgrimed to the temples in his homeland of Uribasa, and traveled the length and breadth of the wintry Darcassian Empire." Whether any of his tales are true is anyone's guess. What is not in doubt is Cadmus' reputation as a traveler, trader, and explorer.
Cadmus is also a somewhat well know writer. He penned the Innards of Empire Volumes One, Two, and Three (a fourth is in the works) as well as wrote a terrible, likely exaggerated novel of his journey through Zolacwa. These are only some of the many books he has written on the world's people and nations.
Cadmus is accompanied everywhere by his faithful Lance Drone Etta. Etta serves as a pet, watch bug, and mount. The two are nearly inseparable because of their journeys together.
Little is known of his family or background. Cadmus continues his journeys, determined to see the whole world.
