The Caldwell Guild

The Caldwell Guild is the Caldwell's family business. They are hunters that reside and work in Rookswood, keeping the town safe from rogue SPNs that might harm the citizens. The current heads are Theodore and Allysa Caldwell, the parents of Alec, Sarah, and Zane.

The Guild is known for its masks they use to protect their identities: they are made of pure gold, they deflect any attack one might throw at the head of its user, and they are often in the shape of an animal or a plant, often reflecting the upbringing/background of its wearer.

They believe in the protection of the innocent, first and foremost. They place the security and well-being of the citizens of Rookswood above all else.

It is open to anyone who wishes to join the Guild, although it is extremely rare for an SPN to apply, let alone join. None has applied since Theodore came into power. The recruits go through rigorous training at the hands of the likes of Brad Austin and Sarah Caldwell, and the hunters in the Guild are recognised across the organization and beyond as Elite hunters, known for their efficiency, effort, strength and commitment to the cause.

The base is a building owned by the Guild in the outskirts of town. They own equipment such as weapons, armour, and miscellaneous other objects.

History

The Guild was established in 1897. They were originally an organization of random hunters that went after any and all magical creature, until 1917 when the treaties were signed and SPNs gained the status of protected species. Ever since, the Guild has been devoted to the protection of Rookswood, where so many creatures live, with varying levels of respect for them as the generations change.
