The Kite
There is magic left in Rolara. I feel it in the stillness of meditation and the speed of combat. I see it in my dreams. And though we know not how to access it, I know it will return again one day. But I do not know when, and while the world waits, marauding bands of monsters roam the countryside. This I see, too, in my dreams: fire and fangs. Bloodshed, suffering and death.
These dreams are not random glimpses. I am being guided to protect the weak from the evil things of this world. I have trained to fuse mind, body and bow into a single weapon, and learned to focus this new self to achieve perfection of a new art: the Way of the Kite. I will form a new Order to stand guard as Protectors of this Realm and Slayers of the monstrosities that threaten it. And we will wait for the time that magic is unsealed once more, doing all in our power to hasten the arrival of that day.
