Fluffball

The Fluffball was a magical creature that was discovered in the year 1212 PE, in the Great Meadow of Ofica. Its distinctive appearance, with a body almost completely covered by fluffy fur, quickly made it a popular pet among the people of Tatharia, where it became an important cultural symbol.   Although not particularly powerful or dangerous, Fluffballs were magical creatures and possessed some unique abilities. One of their most notable traits was the ability to move themselves using the spell Mage Hand. The origins of this ability were still not fully understood, but some experts suggested that it may have been related to the intense magical energies present in their natural habitat.

Basic Information

Biological Traits

Fluffballs were small creatures, typically measuring no more than six inches in diameter. Their fur ranged in color from pale pink to deep violet, and was incredibly fluffy, almost obscuring their other features. They had small, round faces with tiny black eyes and a small, button-like nose. Fluffballs moved by waddling along on short, stubby legs, giving them a comically uncoordinated gait.

Behaviour

Fluffballs were social creatures that typically lived in large groups. They were herbivorous, with a diet consisting mainly of grasses and flowers. They were known for their affectionate nature, often cuddling up to their owners or other Fluffballs for warmth. Despite their popularity as pets, Fluffballs could be quite challenging to care for. Their fluffy fur required regular grooming to prevent matting and tangling, and they tended to mate only during specific times of the year, making breeding difficult.

Additional Information

Domestication

Fluffballs became an important cultural symbol in Tatharian society, where they were often given as gifts to loved ones. Their fluffy appearance and adorable waddling gait made them a popular subject of art and literature, and they even featured in Tatharian folklore. Some Tatharians believed that Fluffballs brought good luck and fortune, and they were often associated with themes of love and affection.   Despite their popularity, Fluffballs posed several challenges for their owners. Breeding them was difficult, as they were relatively rare and tended to mate only during specific times of the year. Furthermore, they required significant care and attention, particularly in terms of grooming their fluffy fur. Neglecting their grooming needs could result in serious health issues for Fluffballs, including skin infections and matting.
