SW Session 60: You Can Call Me Al.
General Summary
As The Crew arrive in Tressen they notice posters across the entrance to the city spreading hate for the refugee's in the Underbelly. On their way to the camp to find Toggin Fimblesnatch they are interupted by a Masked Cleric who tries to point them, especially Godrick Graves in the direction of the Tressen Citadel. They warned the party of not going to the camp but they refused to listen.
I They arrived at the camp, the smell of burning tar masking the stench of the desitute area. The evidence of filth was clear and the guards, after being persuaded to allow the party in, were on high alert.
They passed a begger in the streets, Ravak showed him his missing arm and Leone Laponis demanded information on the wereabouts of Toggin. In return for his help the Goliath gave the begger three copper. Toggin lived in a small shack within the canvas city and was nervous of those who knocked. The team were let in and Toggin was absolutely chuffed to see them, esepcially Ravak. He said he could fix Ravak but would need the arcane battery that was taken off him and stored at the citidel.
Then the door knocked and a slender but muscled man walked in who introduced himself as Al. He told Toggin not to trust this party and instead he started to berate their reasons for being their. Though Al recognised Long and decided to ask for their help to steal a coupl of things from the citidel and eventually free those trapped in the Underbelly. Long was not conviced especially after finding out Al was in fact Alfonso Bonso, who they had met on the balcony of the Thorstal palace. Alfonso claimed he had a way to end the war and needs their help. Long casted Zone of Truth and Alfoso was telling the truth in the main. He informed them of a device which Toggin was working on that can teleport en mass. Alfonso said he wants to use the devise to free the people of the "POW" camps. Brokk Stonefist offered the August Estate to rehouse some people.
The party decided to vote. It was confusing. But they think they will help Alfonso steal Toggins equipment, the box in which his evidence is stored and the teleportation devise. So it was HEIST TIME!
