SW Session 39: The Final Goodbyes.
General Summary
Fresh from completing the first two rooms that the Auvor Thull Labyrinth had set for them the party seemed confident. Leone Laponis and Brokk Stonefist were not happy with Ravak and Ted Burnstien for allowing Luvaj D to go.
However, there was no time to dwell as the party stumbled into the room of Ozymandias. Within the room they had to place certain items into his statue before the room filled with sand. Eventually they worked out the puzzle and moved onto the next.
Bhul was in the next room. The party was conflicted. They had seen Bhul die but yet he stood in front of them in all his glory. They all said what they needed to say to the orc and were desperate for him to leave with them. Ted noticed that there was a tapestry of The Soul Snatcher upon the wall and it became clear that this was another test. Whatever was stood in front of them wasnt truly Bhul even though in every aspect it was real. Brok sliced the back of his neck and cried as he said his final words to his friend and admitted that Bhul was dead. Once they all admitted that he was no more, the door opened.
The next room revealed the location of the Lotus Flower to them. But it also revealed that Sturt Oakenshield was being held captive by Lucius Sunspot. Sunspot stated that the party could have either the flower or the goliath and the other would be teleported to his 'master'. Long threw his chakram and was desperate to kill Sunspot for his trechery. This started a short but aggressive combat that resulted in Brokk going wild and Ted revealing that Sunspot was in fact a Husk. Ravak used his scorching ray and killed Sunspot completely. Sunspot's hold on the teleportation circles was relesed and both circles were activated. This meant that Sturt was teleported away as well as the flower. Wurm, however did not want to leave without his flower so jumped in to try and grab it, he was teleported away too.
They brought Sunspot back to life and demanded that he answered their questions. However, they bought him back without his soul. Sunspot gave told them the the teleportation circle was linked to the Shadowfell, the realm of Nightmare.
