SW Session 38: Into the Labyrinth
General Summary
The Shadow Team's last night above ground is spent resting and trying to learn more about their new companion Ravak.
They came across the large sandstone disc that covered the entrance to the Auvor Thull Labyrinth. The disc appeared to have the head of an elven king etched into it but it was a combination of Ted Burnstiens magic wand and Brokk Stonefists talent for stonework that revealed the entrance to them. Once down the stairs they found the half burnt body of a Teifling called Luvaj D.
Luvaj explained how he and his party were tasked to go into the maze to retrieve the same flower that the shadow team had been asked to get. He told them that he was teleported into the dessert with very little information and it turns out his colleagues; two orcs, a dwarf and a goliath were all killed in the maze and he only escaped thanks to a well timed dimension door.
Mistrust was wrife.
The first room was indeed the flaming gargoyle room that Luvaj warned them about but they did not go in there. The next room was a platform room which required them to simply cross and avoiced the neverending portals of doom.
The next room was filled with the coffins of the adventuring party that had died in the labyrith. They found the handles that opened the door and escaped.
Lost, dazed, confused... the party continued on.
