SW Session 20: Trust of the Archduke.
General Summary
Archduke Sven the Sworn. has been assasinated by Helver Stonefist. The people of Thorstal disperse in panic and death still hangs in the air.
Leone Laponis jumps onto the balcony to try and calm the fighting but it is too late for most of those on the platform. Georgina Betto, the partner of Archduke Blandia Betto hangs on the edge of death and most of the red contingent had been killed. Alfonso Bonso one of Sven's protectors allows Long to take the lead and the goliath persaudes them to drop their weapons and turn themselves in.
Ted Burnstien and Brokk Stonefist search the body of Uldron finding proof that Jay The Lucky had hired him. Ted also learnt a new spell within his ring- Wall of Fire.
Bhul despite being in chains by the blue guards and Jay The Lucky remained calm and happy to tease the short captain. Bhul offered to pay for damages and was quickily released when the party reformed and persuaded him that they could find Helvar. Jay, as a former member of the Silver Capes made Brokk nervous but Jay left before Brokk had his issues so was rather happy to see him. Jay also informed the Shadow Team that Lucius Sunspot was in charge of vetting Helvar.
Before the Shadow Team found Sturt Oakenshield, Bhul visited the body of Uldron to find the powerful bow he had upon his person. Bhul needed Selron's help and allowed them in. This caused Selron to appear as a figure in a blank space within Bhuls subconsious mind. Selron showed Bhul a memory from his childhood. Bhul asked for the memory of him and his family practising with Bows but Selron showed him Bhul, in a classroom, drawing pictures of bows on a book that said the word Society on it- A similar book that was seen in Sunspot's room. Bhul found the bow but it quickly went away again with Selron thanking him for it.
They found Sturt who blamed himself and he took the party to find the Archduke and her partner. In the safe room Georgia had been poisoned and Blandia alsmot blinded. They were asked to find the Lotus Flower from Auvor Thull Labyrinth which would cure the illness. They all headed to Sunspots tower to question him and potentially use his teleportation circle. Bhul was already there asking questions of his father and threatening Sunspot.
Eventually the party convinced Sunspot and Sturt to get the flower and they were to try and capture Helvar who was escaping the city.
