Satan's Little Helper
It's a small wooden figure that resembles what the respected historians of the area describe as "the devil". He has two large ram horns swirling around his ugly, sneering face. A tiny forked tongue is sticking out between his pointed fangs as he laughs. There are two bat-like wings protruding from his shoulders, and a long, pointed tail that circles around his two hair goat legs. He is painted a bright crimson, a color that was thought to be extinct since the maelstrom hit.
Nobody really knows where it came from. It just showed up one day in someone's house in Ron Dequois, crouched in the center of the room, as if it was waiting for soemthing.
The man who "found" it reportedly carried it around everywhere he went. He started speaking out of character, getting more and more hostile until an issue was resolved, or until an agreement (in his favor) was reached. The man grew stronger and faster over a course of only three days, lifting objects that easily weighed around a ton and carrying them around as if they were little baskets of feathers.
A concerned community gathered together to ask the man about his "little helper". He mentioned that sometimes when he's alone, he can hear a raspy, crackling laughter. He said the voice told him to do things. BAD things. And he would be punished if he didn't do what he was told.
The next morning the man was found dead in his living room, laying peacefully on his back with his hands resting over his chest. The little wooden figure was sitting next to him.
The people of the district came together and decided someone should take the doll and bury it somewhere far from their homes. Only the person who buried it knows where it rests.
