Lost Jewel

The story of the Lost Jewel starts at the beginning of the apocalypse when the world was even more chaotic than it is now, if that's something to believe. As normal citizens wandered the wasteland losing themselves further and further, one of them stumbled upon a mysterious jewel. It was wedged into the concrete ground surrounded by black ash and needed to be forcibly pulled out, leaving a scar behind. The turquoise gem is incased in a silver cage with three small silver spheres acting as vertices for a triangle the gem fits inside. Each of the spheres has a unique symbol: A book on the bottom left, a flower on the bottom right, and a skull at the peak. The chain looping through a hole on the top allows the holder to wear it as a necklace. The jewel gives off a soft blue glow that can sometimes grow brighter depending on the area. When holding it close, one can faintly hear the sounds of screams emanating from it. People have been killed just for having it, as a lot of important ones are on the hunt for it. It has passed through many hands and seen many deaths but no one seems to be any close to solving its mystery.
