Flesh Juice

Made from the blood of the weak, rotting flesh, and just a hint of citrus. It's become a delicacy for the residents of Maplehood, usually for those that have only gone halfway insane. The truly ravenous savages that have lost their minds will eat anything - how repulsive - but those with elevated palates know that consuming Flesh Juice is truly the greatest experience the apocalypse can provide, though it takes some time to produce properly. Flesh Juice is also much more sustaining that your average unrefined corpse dinner, helping to keep the cravings down longer. Doesn't make you any less insane, but at least you can think about something other than ripping passersby limb for limb. Maybe you could use that energy instead to focus on harvesting their precious parts to make more Flesh Juice. It's great to share with friends and family at parties (if you've got any left)! Just make sure you make it right - the wrong combination of ingredients, or otherwise preparing it incorrectly, is an insult to the tongue and anyone you share it with. You'll be lucky if they eat you quickly.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Combining the sweetness of crimson blood with the succulence of rotting flesh creates this concoction to satisfies even the greatest of hungers. What really sets it apart, though, is that note of citrus. Why, if you don't have that you might as well be eating just any old corpse, and regular corpses are for the lowest of savages.

If you know what you're doing and have the corpses around to do it, creating Flesh Juice is not as difficult as you would think
