Decoy Training Grounds

Named "Decoy" since it's so close to the boarder, this area is exactly what it sounds like. The training grounds were made for the troops in North Web from leveled buildings and old farm fields. The space is perfect for target practice and conducting drills for the new soldiers. Complete with homemade hay targets, obstacle courses made from water and building remnants, and mine fields for various other training exercises. Not a fun place to be even if you're meant to be there.
Training starts at the crack of dawn and carries on until you're shrouded in pitch black shadow. However, the grounds are always open to whoever needs more practice. A few blocks away from the fenced-off shooting range are the barracks. This is where all the troops and their families are housed so they can get to and from the training grounds as quickly as possible. These buildings are some of the nicest in the district: multiple sturdy levels with hard wood flooring, mattresses and pillows stuffed with luxurious animal furs, and furniture that isn't completely deteriorated from the war.
Most soldiers sign up just to be placed in the barracks, but are quickly weeded out and sent to farm. The fields are fairly close next door, so the farmers are used to the constant sounds of battle.
