Fangs of Helduun

The Fangs of Helduun are a pair of fearsome weapons, each a double-bladed kama attached to a chain, forged with malevolent purpose and unparalleled craftsmanship. These deadly instruments of war are not merely weapons; they are extensions of Helduun’s dark will and ambition.  

Fangs of Helduun (10ft Version)

  Weapon (martial, melee weapon), two-handed   Damage: 1d10 slashing   Properties: Reach, Heavy, Two-Handed, Special   Weight: 12 lbs   Description: The Fangs of Helduun is a fearsome double-bladed kama with a 10-foot chain attached to the end of its handle. It requires significant strength (STR 15) to wield effectively, offering extended reach and powerful slashing attacks.

Special Properties:

  Trip Attack: When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can attempt to trip the target. The target must make a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be knocked prone.   Disarm: When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can attempt to disarm the target, forcing it to drop one item of your choice that it’s holding. The target must make a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or drop the item.  

Fangs of Helduun (5ft Version)

  Weapon (martial, melee weapon), two-handed   Damage: 1d8 slashing   Properties: Reach, Finesse, Two-Handed, Special   Weight: 6 lbs   Description: The smaller version of the Fangs of Helduun is a more manageable double-bladed kama with a 5-foot chain. It is easier to wield and allows for greater agility in combat.  

Special Properties:

  Finesse: You can use your Dexterity modifier for attack and damage rolls with this weapon instead of your Strength modifier.   Trip Attack: When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can attempt to trip the target. The target must make a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier) or be knocked prone.   Disarm: When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can attempt to disarm the target, forcing it to drop one item of your choice that it’s holding. The target must make a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier) or drop the item.
