Amethyst has known a life of luxury. The wealth of her parents has offered her the opportunity to learn the art of music, rather than working in the mines with her fellow dwarfs.
Though she shows great talent with her music, she quickly notices a lack of respect from her fellow clansmen, who toil in the mountains, seeking wealth.
Deciding to show her worth, Amethyst leaves the home of her clan and heads to a place no dwarf cares to visit, the sea. Here, she is determined to bring back her own unique treasures, unseen and unknown by the people of the mountain, bring them to her home, and finally earn the recognition she deserves from her clansmen.
