How does divine and the inherited magic spheres work?

The rings are seed with a strange energy known as magic that seems to have being embedded in most creatures and items. Magic is divided into two spheres the divine and the inherited magic spheres. Most living things have inherited magic to a minor level (Cantrip) but the exact one will depend on which year they are born. There seems a rough five-year cycle to which school of magic, an individual is born however occasional an extra school will appear one year and sometime at random in some cycle a magic fallow year will occur and those born in that year have no magic talent and are immune to magic both positive and negative. Those who can find the stones that align with the birth year school can potentially increase their power reserve and some with the right volume of stones and training can increase their powers to true wizard levels. However, stone will loss their magic retention capacity over time and must be replaced. The more that a particular stone is used the sooner they will need to be replaced.   The normal five-year cycle is: - Water – Stone is Emerald – birth cantrip is shape water Earth - Stone is Jade – birth cantrip is druid-craft Fire - Stone is Jasper – birth cantrip is fire bolt Air - Stone is Amethyst – birth cantrip is gust Light – Stone is Sunstone – birth cantrip is dancing lights   Some of the more common (known) random year are: - Knowledge – Stone is Amber – birth cantrip is guidance Ice – Stone is Diamond – birth cantrip is chill touch Dark – Stone is Opal – birth cantrip is create zone of darkness   A few exceptional Wizards can cast magic from a school of magic outside their birth year. One of the dangers from inherited magic is that the more it is used the more it corrupts a person body by slowly turning them into their birthstone, yes it alleged unscrupulous wizard have trick individuals to becoming completely their birthstone and then used them as magic batteries to further their own power. The allege problem with this is the stone person/battery can sabotage the other caster magic.   Some have said this petrification process can be reverse with high enough magic, but it is believed to be a myth by most, hence why magic is rarely used more than a few times a day.   Only those chosen by a divine (or infernal) entry as a champion can use divine magic and an individual will only first manifest this power having undertaken a pilgrimage or holy/unholy crusade for their god/goddess cause and must have an artifact of faith to cast it through. This divine magic will replace their inherited magic.
