Spellspire

A massive structure hidden away in the Astral Plane. It's purpose is to facilitate magic on command. Unbeknownst to most mages, spells are just a way of calling out to this structure remotely. Given instructions and a proportionate amount of mental power for those instructions, the spire will manifest a psionic power under the mage's control. This is why many thumatologists explain magic as a set of paionic instructions.
