Jötunn

Known to many as "giants" the Jötunn are a mountain nature spirit. As their layman's name would suggest they are quite large humanlike beings, often standing over 5 meters tall and powerfully built. They worship two main deities, the Mother Skade and the Father Ohmfather.

Genetics and Reproduction

Like many spirits, little is known of their propagation, but many jötunn believe they are the result of a union on of the two mountain deities, Skade and Ohmfather. According to the myths a lightning strike fertilizes the mountain and winter covers it in a snowy womb, then spring comes and a new jötunn emerges from the melting snow.
