The Library at Heim

The Library at Heim is the repository of knowledge on Rhunec. It contains the oldest written works and priceless antiquities. This is the only place that contains writings and remnants from the Titans. The Library is Situated on the Heim Volcano and is tended by The Sky Scholars . This group of dedicated librarians wear multicolored tunics, leather armor, and wield stalise weapons to defend the library.
The Library has only a portion of it visible from the outside world. This portion is called Glacier's Gate. It is a tunnel carved through a glacier that completely envelopes the high peaks of the volcano. The upper reaches of the Library are situated guest areas and living areas of the librarians. The Library is built into the volcano, carved out of the living rock. The active volcano provides warmth and hot water, even if the first few buckets of water smell a bit sulfurous.
The Library itself takes the shape of massive helix. The Main Stair is the dominant way of travel and the Minor Stair wraps in the opposite direction. There are several short cuts and tunnels that connect disparate rooms. The library seems to be endless, with forgotten rooms and corners that hold unknown relics and knowledge.
