Sover

Sover is known as the City of Swords. This city is built at the head of Setta's Pass deep in the highest peaks of The Northern Mountains. The city is built into the sides of the steep peaks, bridges and walkways spanning the narrow, deep, canyons. The only flat ground is the on the northern edge of the city, overlooking the The Pine Coast. This natural plateau is called the Aerie and serves as the meeting place for the people in the city. The sword dances and other festivals occur here.
Sover is split up into several districts, overseen by District Wardens. Collectively, these Wardens make up the Swords of Sover that rule Sover. The High Warden is the defacto leader of the Swords and of Sover. They are the Warden of the Overlook district along the Northern Edge of Sover. There are six other districts, Dragon Heights, Deep Water, Sky Watch, Sword Row, Electrum Row, and Sword Gate.
Dragon Heights is the upper most west side of the canyon that Sover is built into. It is called Dragon Heights because it is the favorite perch of dragons to catch the morning sun.
Deep Water is the district at the bottom of the canyon. This area is made lush by the Dunkel River running through it. It is the only place that any real vegitation can be found in Sover.
Sky Watch is opposite Dragon Heights. It is on the east side of canyon. Made up of very wealthy homes and residences. This area gets the most sun out of all the districts.
Sword Row is beneath Dragon heights and above Deep Water on the west side of the canyon. This is where the famous sword smiths have their forges. It is where most of the shopping is as well.
Electrum Row is beneath the Sky Watch district on the east side of the canyon. This area was first carved out when following a vein of electrum running into the mountains. The mine is still producing electrum and this district serves as an industrial center and financial center for Sover.
Sword Gate is the southern most district. It is a predominately housing district framing the entrance to Sover from Setta's Pass.
Every year, Sover celebrates the Dragon Flight with a festival, feasts, and celebrations.
