Miyata Yasu is the Claimer of the Awane Crown and became Empress 20 years ago. Extremely accomplished and politically brilliant, she has been called the Viper of Awane but only behind her back. In the dark. Where no one can hear.
Stories of her fame and cunning always mention the way she reclaimed the War Fans of the Sun and Moon for Awane. In the year 561, she conducted extensive research in The Library at Heim before traveling to the deepest parts of The Flatlands. There she outwitted desert sun, desiccating heat, and endless thirst to find the Fans hiding place. She fought of blood thirsty beasts and riaders that tried endlessly to defeat her. In the end, she returned to Awane victorious and invulnerable, the War Fans gracing her side ever since.
Upon her return from the Flatlands, Empress Miyata quickly gained enough power to challenge for the Crown. She won, her cloak of feathers the longest in Awane history. To this day, she is herald as the most illustrious ruler of Awane.
