The Stillmother

The Stillmother Idol is an ancient relic that was housed within the archives of the Olorey Tribe of Tval Vorten. It is believd that housed within this statuette are several spirits of death and fortune known as Disir. The Oloric Texts suggest that the spirits have been locked away so long that they have fused with each other, woven and warped into something far more powerful than any single Disir, and warn that to unlease them would leave a large swath of the world frozen in a state between life and death, a perpetual limbo.
Recently the Olorey were the victim of a vicious attack, betrayed at the hands of one of their high druids, working with the Cult of the Whispering Way, to slaughter the entire tribe and take possesion of the Stillmother Idol.
