Vazid

Vazid is sometimes described as the final plane, and sometimes described as a shadow of Thi, and sometimes described as the origination of all things. The nature of planes is explained to all young children through folklore, and perhaps expanded upon later with a more formal education. Vazid is often left out of more simple explanations, or described as a bogey-monster who will hunt down bad children.

In mythology, Vazid is described as the plane created to take up the empty space. They are essentially the absence of anything else. In line with children's tales, Vazid is described as extremely hostile and dangerous to mortals. Stories describing the relations of the planes further suggest that Vazid does not get along well with anything, and even the other planes hate them. Their purpose was to hold everything apart, so this only makes sense.
But those other suggests, that Vazid predates Thi? They suggest that Vazid is slowly, very, very slowly, consuming everything. They will reclaim all the power, condensing it back into one source to restart. If this is true, the progression is happening even slower than the growth of the Deadlands; no one has been able to track a change. But then, how would they? The Edge of the World has never been reached, and what, are the clouds supposed to get shorter? Closer?
