Deadlands
A desolate, festering land. The soil itself smells of rot, and from beneath the ground volcanic pockets occasionally erupt. The rest of the earth is rocky and three huge canyons carve through the area. Communication from familiars and animals suggest the canyons resemble claw marks through the Deadlands. Legend tells of a dragon the size of Osupa who raked their claws across the land during the Saefi War. The area of the Deadlands seem to creep outwards each year, although it does so exceedingly slowly, so that the detection of it became a life's work. This discovery suggests that Saefi has infected Rhina.
Travel through the area is treacherous for those prepared, and certain death for those unprepared. Rumors speak of ruins somewhere in the land, but especially with the establishment of Palme, these rumors seem more and more unlikely. Still, for some there is that allure, calling them to their deaths.
Fauna & Flora
Mosses, ferns, and small grasses can be found in the cracks of the rocky landscape, clinging to what nutrients they've managed to horde. Occasionally creatures wander in, although few creatures wander out. It's a great place to find bones.
