Wastelands to the north, ocean to the south with great scorching deserts and wild scrublands in between. Most of civilization is concentrated on the beaches and volcanic islands offshore, but the desert contains ruins of the Old World buried in sand. Tieflings have sought refuge on the volcanic areas for centuries, their resistance to heat granting their communities relative peace.
