Glass Butterflies

Somewhere in Reverie an artisan spends day and night creating delicate glasswork butterflies. No one knows who he is, and know on knows where he lives, but every month these glass butterflies pop up in The Pearl Market and get sold out within a few hours.
Even though the butterflies have no magic, people still travel to the market to have a glimpse of these butterflies. The exquisite craftsmanship and delicate beauty of these butterflies have a magic of their own. Many people have attempted to recreate these butterflies over the years, but when a copy is placed beside the original, the difference becomes clear.
While plenty have tried to track down the glassworker, no one has ever successfully found him. No one, not even the vendors who sell these glass butterflies know of his whereabouts.

These delicate glass butterflies mostly come in varying shades of blue, purple, and indigo. There are some rarer color variations that are white, which quickly become valuable collector's items, selling for much more than the already valuable regular glass butterfly.
While the glass wings look so fragile that they might break on touch, they are surprisingly durable. When light hits the glass wings, they seem to glow, projecting psychedelic, swirling patterns of colorful light on their surroundings.
