Learning new schools
Is witnessing/seeing a particular school in action, while on an adventure, enough for an arcanist an attempt to "open" that school with experienced gained? Sort of like we picked up seamanship or eathermaster lore on the road.
No. Witnessing a convocation wouldn’t give you any insight. That doesn’t mean experience points gained on a mission couldn’t be applied. There could be reason to believe that you were practicing or studying that convocation as you traveled.
but you can't pick up a new school with experience points, unless we allow the above.... You could use experience to develop an already opened school or spell. But not open one
So I am unclear, can i spend 25 experience points to open up the jmorvi school of magic?
