Player Character Worlds
So I built Varock, Dhrakoth and Merric thier own private worlds. I can see you guys are doing quite a bit of work on them. Know that if we don't end up using your board we can move all of the articles to the Rethem world. I would be curios to here you guys insights and thoughts on using them. Currently the boards are private but you can make them public if want to show something.
Also, note that I have built a ;Mission Sheet' article template that would be good to test.I can change the template at any time and still looking at ways to upgrade it. I will also build an 'Action Sheet' template.
Matt has done a lot of work on his board!
All of you feel free to add major categories that make sense to you. Realize that at some point we may want to have a high degree of consistency between the boards so that I am not having to figure out where to find stuff in each person's world but for now I think we should throw some ideas out there to find out what all we can do. Some thoughts-
Consider making your board public so that others can see what you are doing. That should be under 'Settings'. We can always make things private later. Plus you could make some things private and some things public. For now do not give anyone else authorships to your board
Make me a to do list based on what you want I need to do to complete the Spring 616 turn. If this works it might be great way for me to organize what I should be working on without waiting on notifications etc.. note that you can prioritize that list
I was playing around with the Tree function. Take a look at it and build a simple one. Basically, it embedds a tree into an article. This could be great for a family tree or your settlement governmental structure. It might be useful for other things.
remember if you publish an article, I believe i wil get a notifcation since I am following you. I am curious if you can notify me when you add something to the to do list.
Try copying an article from the Rethem 615 to your board. Try the embedd funtion but I am also very interested in the Copy function so that you could just bring the article as is to your categories
I actually find it not cumbersome at all once I started to get used to it. I am really enjoying building articles and creating content in my board.
Nice to do list Matt. I need to think about how that would effect my effiecency.
Jeff- I published an article that you had started on the board. Copied in what we had been talking about on Proboards and made a comment. Could be useful.
I think it would be good for each of you to choose a different color scheme. I have already found myself on one board when I thought I was on another. I would still want the layout to be the same but if the color scheme was more reflective of your clan (doesn't have to be) It would help me when I have multple tabs open.
Most of the time when you have your world open you should see a little pallet symbol on the right edge about a fourth of the way down. If you click it, it will give you prebuilt color schemes you can choose, you can also get fancy and build your own color scheme.
