I'd rather have more generic cards that are not explicitly tied to a clan asset, but could be tied to them if it makes roleplay sense at the time we got the card.
For example, the Reversed Wolf card (Raid) is generic but if, for example, Merric got this card then this could be applied to a raid on his boat. Or something like the Mason reversed (building damage), if I got it, could be some erosion/cave-in of the quarry.
