At the age of 20, His Illustrious and Serene Highness, Sun Prince Yunzhe of the Imperial Myeon Dynasty announced his abdication and forswore any right to the Imperial throne, thrusting his responsibility on his brother Enzhan. He was granted the title of Prince Astronomer and removed from the line of succession.
