This was a message by the unnamed king of Hestores to his people. You find his message under the "Read Document"-Button.

Purpose

Originally spoken in words in front of the people and captured on paper the kings speech to his people after hard days in the war. The king tries to calm them down and is going to show them his decision.

After big approval for the first half of his speech, the rest let the people thinking: Is this really our king? Some people began to think, that a change really might be needed, others thought, he was out of his mind. And so this was the reason, the people of this kingdom began to split.

To my people

Dear people,

A few months have past since the war began. And a few months more have past since we got the Regenerationspawner from Hexamul. But still: Times are tough. I try my best, to get everyone in our kingdom enough food to live. It's hard. However: Together we proved ourselves to survive these times! We are proud people and that's how we fight as well!

But even we cannot stay like this until the end. War has demanded too much from us. Soon we are not having enough food for all of us and our technology cannot help our food production as much, to get around this. Shortly:
If we stay on this path, we lose.
So I did the only thing, that seemed to be right in this war: I made a bargain. We are joining Anthills End. They've got food in abundance and could make good use of our technology. Trust me, it's the best and only decision to make in our situation.

I know, you all are on my side, as always. Because we are strong together!
