Session 10: Drinks with a Druid

General Summary

As the group sleeps after their harrowing encounter with the dragon Venomfang, they all experience a dream of some kind. Mardot finds himself in th woods of his childhood, chased by wolves and wrack with guilt from his recent murders. Calix Myrddin enjoys tea and exchanges stories with a strange Tiefling. Icarus finds himself on the Lodestone Locomotive once more, but this time, he's in the red cloak. Salt has a dream of a villa on a coast with a storm moving in in the distance. Rost finds himself in a valley, before the sides erupt in flames and he hears a voice. The voice reveals itself as Dejirevi, a spirit of sorts inside his sword. Rost asked where are you (I'm with you), who are you (a guardian, Revi), and do you know me (I've known you for a while and am excited to see who you become)
As Mardot awoke from his nightmare, he roused the rest of the party. He eventually recanted his tale of destroying his temple's bell that protects them. Salt uses Mending to reform the bell, now held together with ice.
In the morning the party decides to investigate a little more of the town. The party investigates a bar called The Brown Horse. The inside is covered with ash that quickly stirs into mephits that Salt quickly dispatches with a Thunderwave. Mardot investigates the backroom finding a blue jug with several corks in it and takes the jug with him.
Moving onward to find the druid Qelline told Salt about. They eventually find a more intact house that Reidoth the Druid is using. He invites the party inside for tea and tells them of the Emerald Enclave and his mission. The party tries and fails in recruiting Reidoth to the Goblin cause, but he does tell them that the Emerald Enclave will be looking to fight Venomfang sometime in the future. The party does discuss whether it would be best to help in the fight, or use this as cover to retrieve any loot Venomfang has.
Saying farewell to Reidoth, the party travels back to Phandalin to receive their rewards.
