Requiem of Fractures

Ah, sorry-   But what are those Shapes? A friend of mine, a real well-to-do science type, told me they were the pieces of reality that fall out of Fractures, Splinters, or other gaps in the world. Crazy, right? What a time to be alive.   Now, I got my hands on a Shape years ago, before we really knew what they were. It was this small little iridescent rectangle I kept it as a good luck charm. Wore it for every show and every recording session for years before that friend I mentioned told me what it was, and the siren effect it was having on my music.    Confidence took a pisser for a while, till I proved I had the chops to stay on top without it, but what a revelation that was. Now I know I could have almost anyone I want dancing on strings if they were hearing my music, not that I'd ever do that, of course.    Mine's not even considered an all that powerful effect compared to what's out there. What's a little bit of mind control when you can teleport whole armies or crack continents with a clap yeah?
